On The Road

Two weeks ago I drove the entire east coast of Australia. It was a long, lonely though often beautiful and therapeutic journey.

The various landscapes, small towns and long straights and dangerous kept me occupied for the entire time I was behind the wheel.

Been a long time since I was on a road trip. Problem is my pictures would be full of the hundreds of cars in front of me. Nice to have that open road you have there.

I think my road trips would be similar to Robert's - loads of other cars in the pics.

PS: Glad you're up again :)

I've always wanted to do this. How long did it take?

@Robert: Yeah, it was real strange the difference between driving through a city, a small town and a very, very long and empty road.

@Anu: Glad to be back :)

@Unpacking: My work gave me 7 days to do it, so I stopped in Sydney for a few days. Probably wasn't the best idea. All and all it took about 3 straight days of driving. I don't suggest you do it alone or in 8hr blocks like I did. Take longer breaks than I did too. The last 3hrs was VERY dangerous.
